Dr Andrew Cupples

BSc(Hons Anatomy QUB 2001), MBBChBaO (QUB 2005), MRCGP (2010)

I am at heart a general practitioner with broad interests in many aspects of healthcare, but I have particular expertise and specialist training in Minor Surgery, Men and Women’s Fertility Planning, Musculoskeletal Medicine and Endocrinology in Primary Care.

I am currently one of, if not the only, GP in Northern Ireland using Point of Care Ultrasound techniques for routine Primary Care work in practice. we enjoy my role as an accredited GP Trainer and Medical Student educator, and I’m also a trainer in Minor Surgical and Joint Injection techniques. we have been performing Minor Surgery and Corticosteroid injections in practice for over 13 years.

I am fully indemnified by the MDDUS.

I am a Christian, and have a particular interest in beginning and end of life issues surrounding bioethics. I firmly believe in practising medicine with a clear Christian ethos, and this informs many elements of the services which we offer.
